During most dreams, sleepers are not aware that they are dreaming, no matter how absurd or eccentric the dream is.

Lucid means clear thinking, to be easily understood. It would really be nice if more people were more lucid most of the time.

Lucid means something that is very clear, recognizable, and understandable.

An example of the word being used is, she talked very lucidly.

Benefits of Lucid Dreaming

No nightmares

It’s quite hard to be scared knowing that everything around is not real.

Everything is possible

You could alter and even completely change the dream world. Take a trip to places you always wanted to visit. Meet any people. Drive craziest vehicles of this world. Literally any dream you ever had is possible to experience now.

Better short term memory

Everybody have dreams even people who claim they don’t. This is just a short memory skill issue which needs to be improved eventually. Maybe, you’ve been lucid dreaming already and you simply don’t remember?

Restful Sleep

Less nightmares, regular life problems, etc. actually means less stress. More joy means more rest. It’s like going to vacation every night. Sounds restful?

I personally experienced the benefits of the collective mind while at university. While living in the dorms I had the chance to communicate and exchange information freely. When one of us was stuck on a problem, they would just ask for help and, instead of wasting decades hitting their head against the wall, the problem was solved right away.

A question might have arisen while reading this article: who is this author? I’m just a random person who wants to gain knowledge in a new field, unstudied by humanity for several thousand years: Lucid Dreaming.
